We offer Aerial Tree Inspection (ATI) as part of our consultancy services. This advanced method of tree assessment is carried out by our fully qualified consultants, who have extensive knowledge of the working dynamics and individual characteristics of each tree species from their previous experience as tree surgeons. This enables them to provide clear and concise recommendations for the future management of your trees.
Generally, this type of inspection is carried out on mature or veteran trees, where characteristics that can create safety issues are more common. Initially, one of our arborists or consultants will conduct a ground-based visual inspection. If this inspection reveals any defects, such as large wounds, cavities, splits or decay fungi, a more detailed inspection can be carried out by means of an aerial tree inspection. This results in an adequate assessment of the tree condition and specific work recommendations.
Our recommendations will help to ensure that your trees are brought to an acceptable level of safety, fulfilling your "duty of care" as a client. Alternatively, if the inspection area is sufficient and no further work is required at this stage, unnecessary preventative measures can be avoided.
